Where I am

On the brisk of the earth, on the edge of humanity
I am somewhere in between
where lines intertwine with love and serenity
a beautiful spleen
a tour de force it feels
I paint my toenails green
In an effort to be seen
by me, through un-gendered eyes
accepting the many dimensions
a body occupies.
from space stories, captains bold
i read the many truths untold
my imagination, in the mist of the behold
suffers joyous atmospheric gold,
peaceful rain tenders my burning heart
Calming me down, sweltering start
Living for the awkward moments
where a gentle glimpse of ourselves,
radiates, even through existential torments.
