The River

Have you ever been to this grandiose place
the river, down the road, stretching out to space?

Infinite wisdom has been bestowed there
it is believed that nothing by it feels austere.

a five minute walk, my happy feet
dive within the river’s sweets.

Dancing on the little rocks, poking my skin
beatitudes of unknown gods, creeping within.

One can stand, no need for pretension
no matter what it is, it vanishes to oblivion.

The River drowns all doubtful and confusing elements
leaving you more adept, facing the real torments.

It’s beautiful, a whisper of joy from nature itself
a reminder to get over your stupendous self.

Surrounded by inviting mountains
you can hear the clamming call of a fountain.

There’s also a stone figure, overlooking the river
in all its vastness, in all its adorned splendor.

a protector of everything designed under the blue sky
a presence that allows the truth by sinking all lies.

To The River, I go.
