my mind has been busy
conjuring fascinating lines of poetry
to describe your love’s beauty
attempting to capture the epiphany
in having you here with me.

malevolently, happiness snatches me
under twilight’s luxury
total eclipse of feelings, at the moon’s symphony
melting within the daisies
that grew in your garden this Spring.

the sun shines gloriously each morning
burning passionately our naked bodies
in the midst of all I stop pretending
to hide the precious feelings
growing in me since infinity.
