lust is everywhere
sometimes I partake but I do care
of honesty, of things beyond the flesh
conversations keeping perspective fresh
while I browse for passion
most of what I get is sexual attention
nice piece of meat
but is your heart joyful and neat?
solely hitting me up when you’re horny
or boasting about your pounding’s efficacy
just get me stupidly angry
for I’m more than just a bedroom symphony
I want you to see me within the fringes of your ecstasy
alas, you don’t seem to hear
begging me to come lay near
so that after the deed, you simply disappear
as I sadly hoped to keep you here.
