Blue Collar “Love”
Lust at first sight during a job interview
9AM, on time he was
nervous because of the new job’s clause
fidgety sweaty hands, mind in a blurry stance
The Blue Collar guy will shortly show up to commence
a much needed screening. Of course he’s good enough
but sometimes to prove it may get tough
and slam! goes the office’s door
the muscly body passes by with a swiftly tense odor
Inwardly he fainted
In a snap he gained conscience again, almost rejuvenated
his eyes locked around a sublime face
his heart uncontrollably enamored, running out of pace
the suit, the tie over the dashing smile
damn how he wished to just hang in here for a little while
the strong suave voice uttered with a quizzical tone
“what makes you the ideal candidate for this task at hand?”
coming back from his reveries, he stumble with a stance
but the blue collar guy aware of his stellar appearance
walks to him and whispers “I do want to and I know you do too”
If you really have to guess, it all went sweet in the end
the job was obtained and he felt very grand.
